The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has announced that the admit card for the 71st Integrated Combined Preliminary Competitive Examination 2025 will be made available online soon. A total of 1,250 vacancies have been announced under different departments of the Bihar government.
The BPSC 71st Prelims Exam has been scheduled for September 10, 2025, in 11 district-level examination centres of Bihar. Candidates who have successfully registered for the examination will be able to download their admit cards directly from the official website – bpsc.bihar.gov.in – starting from September 2025.

BPSC 71st Prelims 2025 Admit Card Update
Eligible candidates will be able to download their BPSC 71st Admit Card 2025 through the official website – bpsc.bihar.gov.in – by logging in with their User ID and Password from September 2025 onwards.
Before downloading, applicants must upload their latest passport-size photograph (25 KB) on the candidate dashboard. In case of any discrepancy in the name, father’s name, or mother’s name mentioned in the online application, candidates are required to correct these details in the prescribed field while uploading the photograph. The admit card will only be generated after this step is completed.
The e-Admit Card will clearly show the allotted exam centre code together with the district details. Candidates are instructed to carry at least two copies of the admit card for each exam shift. One signed copy must be handed over to the invigilator at the examination hall during the test.

The Bihar PSC 71st Prelims Exam 2025 will take place on 10th September (Wednesday) in a single shift. The test is scheduled to take place at designated exam centres across 11 districts of Bihar. The detailed examination schedule is as follows:

BPSC 71st Preliminary Examination 2025 Scheme
The BPSC 71st Integrated Combined Preliminary Examination 2025 will be based on the subject of General Studies. The question paper will consist entirely of objective type multiple-choice questions. Candidates will be required to mark the correct option for each question. The exam will carry a total of 150 marks and the duration will be two hours.
It is important to note that the Prelims will include negative marking. For every incorrect answer, one-third (1/3) of the marks assigned to the question will be deducted.
This phase of the exam will function purely as a screening process.Based on the marks scored in the Prelims, candidates will be shortlisted for the Main Examination. The number of candidates qualifying for the Mains will be approximately ten times the total vacancies announced. In case multiple candidates score the same cut-off marks in their respective categories, all of them will be considered eligible for the next stage.

General Science
Current events of national and international importance
India’s past and key highlights of Bihar’s historical journey
General Geography, major geographical divisions of Bihar, and its important rivers
Indian polity and economy, along with changes in Bihar’s economy post-independence
Indian National Movement and Bihar’s role in it
General Mental Ability

Candidates can easily download the BPSC 71st Integrated Combined Preliminary Competitive Examination 2025 Admit Card by following the steps given below:
Go to the official portal of Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) at bpsc.bihar.gov.in.
On the homepage, go to the navigation panel (left side) and click on the link titled “Online Application”.
In the User Login section, enter your Username and Password correctly in the respective fields.
Once logged in, open your candidate dashboard and upload your recent passport-size photograph under the section for BPSC 71st Combined (Preliminary) Examination 2025.
After uploading the photo successfully, the option to download the Admit Card in PDF format will be activated.
Select “Download Admit Card” and store the PDF safely on your device.It is advised to take a printout of the admit card and keep an extra copy for future use.
