Eligibility Criteria :–SEBI Officer Grade A 2025
Candidates applying for the SEBI Officer Grade A (Assistant Manager) posts must possess the following educational qualifications for their respective streams:
1. General Stream:
Applicants should have a Master’s Degree or a Post Graduate Diploma (minimum two years) in any discipline.
OR
A Bachelor’s Degree in Law or Engineering, or must be a Chartered Accountant (CA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Company Secretary (CS), or Cost Accountant (ICWA).
2. Legal Stream:
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized university or institute.
3. Information Technology (IT) Stream:
A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (any branch)
OR
A Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with a Post Graduate qualification in Computer Science, Computer Application, or Information Technology.
4. Research Stream:
A Master’s Degree or Post Graduate Diploma in one of the following fields:
Economics, Commerce, Business Administration, Econometrics, Quantitative Economics, Financial Economics, Mathematical Economics, Business Economics, Agricultural Economics, Industrial Economics, or Business Analytics.
5. Official Language Stream:
A Master’s Degree in Hindi or Hindi Translation with English as a subject at the Bachelor’s level.
6. Engineering (Electrical / Civil) Stream:
A Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Civil Engineering from a recognized university or institution.
