Bihar Police SI Admit Card 2025 Released – Download Notification Here

The electronic admit cards (e-Admit Card) for the Preliminary Written Examination will be issued for candidates appearing in the exam scheduled on 18 January 2026 (Sunday) and 21 January 2026 (Wednesday). The examination will be conducted in two shifts on each day.

Eligible candidates can access and download their BPSSC Bihar Police SI e-Admit Card from the official website bpssc.bihar.gov.in by visiting the “Bihar Police” section. The online admit card link will remain active from 30 December 2025 onwards.

Applicants are advised to download and take a clear printout of the e-admit card. Entry to the examination centre will be permitted only to those candidates who carry their admit card along with a valid photo identity proof, such as Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, Driving Licence, PAN Card, or Passport.

In case the photograph printed on the admit card is unclear or not visible, candidates must carry two recent passport-size photographs, identical to the one uploaded during the online application process, to the examination venue.

Written Examination Structure

The written examination will be conducted in two successive stages, namely the Preliminary Examination and the Main Examination. Both stages will consist of objective-type (multiple choice) questions.


Stage I: Preliminary Examination

The Preliminary Exam will comprise one paper carrying 200 marks. A total of 100 questions will be asked, and the duration of the examination will be 2 hours. The examination questions will cover topics related to general awareness and ongoing national and international events.

Candidates scoring less than 30% marks in the Preliminary Examination will be disqualified and will not be eligible to appear for the Main Examination.


Stage II: Main Examination

Only candidates who qualify the Preliminary Examination will be allowed to participate in the Main Examination, which will consist of two separate papers.

Paper I: General Hindi

  • Total Marks: 200

  • Number of Questions: 100

  • Time Duration: 2 hours

  • Minimum Qualifying Marks: 30%

Candidates failing to secure the minimum qualifying marks in this paper will be declared ineligible. It is important to note that the marks obtained in General Hindi will not be included in the final merit list.

Paper II: General Studies

Paper II will cover questions related to General Studies, General Science, Civics, Indian History, Indian Geography, Mathematics, and Mental Ability.

Negative Marking & Answer Sheet

In both stages of the examination, a negative marking of 0.2 marks will be applied for each incorrect answer. The answer sheet will be prepared in duplicate, with one copy retained by the Commission for record purposes.
