The National Testing Agency (NTA) has opened the NEET UG 2026 online registration for admission to undergraduate medical courses in India. Eligible Indian candidates can apply online through the official website neet.nta.nic.in from 08 February 2026 to 08 March 2026.

NEET UG 2026 Age Criteria
Candidates must have attained the age of 17 years at the time of admission to the first year of the undergraduate medical course, or should complete 17 years on or before 31 December 2026.
General (UR) / EWS candidates must be born on or before 31 December 2009.
SC / ST / OBC-NCL / PwBD / PwD candidates are also eligible as per the same minimum age requirement.
There is no maximum age restriction for candidates applying for NEET UG 2026.
NEET UG 2026 Educational Qualification & Qualifying Exam Codes
To apply for NEET UG 2026, candidates must meet the educational qualification requirements as per the qualifying examination codes given below. Applicants should carefully choose the correct code while filling out the application form.

| Code 01 | Candidates who have appeared or are appearing in Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English and are awaiting results are eligible, provided they secure the required marks after declaration of results. |
| Code 02 | Candidates who have passed Class 12 / Senior Secondary / ISC or equivalent after 12 years of schooling, with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology (including practicals) and English, as per the 10+2 education system. |
| Code 03 | Candidates who have passed Intermediate / Pre-Degree Examination in Science from a recognized Indian University or Board with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, including practicals, and English as a compulsory subject. |
| Code 04 | Candidates who have cleared a Pre-Medical / Pre-Professional Examination after Higher Secondary or equivalent, with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, practical tests, and English. |
| Code 05 | Candidates who have completed the first year of a three-year degree course with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology, including practicals, and have passed Class 12 with the same subjects and English. |
| Code 06 | Candidates holding a B.Sc. degree from a recognized Indian University, having studied at least two subjects among Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany/Zoology) or Biotechnology, and having passed Class 12 with PCB and English. |
| Code 07 | Candidates who have passed any other equivalent examination recognized as comparable to the Intermediate Science level, with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, including practical tests, and English. |
