The Army Welfare Education Society (AWES) will hold the Online Screening Test (OST) 2025 on 20th and 21st September, while 22nd and 23rd September have been kept as reserve dates. while 22nd and 23rd September 2025 have been kept as reserve dates.HQ AWES has assigned a central agency to organize the exam in online mode, ensuring the same quality standards for teachers in every Army Public School

All candidates appearing in the exam will be issued a Score Card, which will remain valid for a lifetime. Although clearing the OST is not mandatory for attending the interview or skill evaluation, candidates who qualify in OST will be given preference, as OST marks carry weightage during the interview stage.

For candidates selected as teachers without OST qualification, it is compulsory to clear the test within two years of appointment by securing a minimum of 50% marks (100 marks overall).

Along with first-time applicants, these categories of candidates may also sit for the OST 2025 examination:

• Those who already hold a score card but wish to improve their scores.

• Candidates seeking to apply for a different post, e.g., a TGT score card holder who has now gained qualifications for PGT (or vice versa).
