Eligibility Criteria :- BCECEB Senior Resident/Tutor 2025
For the Senior Resident/Tutor positions:
40% of the vacancies will be reserved for members of the Bihar State Health Service cadre.
Another 40% will be filled by doctors who have completed postgraduate degree courses (under the Residency Scheme) from medical colleges within the state.
The remaining 20% of vacancies will be open to doctors who have obtained their postgraduate degrees (Residency Scheme) from recognized institutions outside the state.
Educational Qualification:
The minimum academic qualification for Senior Resident/Tutor posts is a postgraduate degree in the respective specialty.
In case of a shortage of eligible candidates, a diploma in the specialty may be considered, and 10 marks equivalent to a postgraduate degree will be awarded to such candidates. However, their ranking in the merit list will be below candidates with a postgraduate degree.
Candidates holding an equivalent postgraduate degree recognized under the Medical Council of India’s Teacher Eligibility Qualifications are also eligible for selection.
