Permanent Residence – The applicant must be a resident of Bihar state.
Caste Category – Only candidates belonging to Backward Class (BC), Extremely Backward Class (EBC), Scheduled Caste (SC), or Scheduled Tribe (ST) are eligible.
Annual Income Limit – The combined yearly income of parents/guardians, including the applicant’s own income (if any), must not exceed ₹3,00,000.
Course of Study – Applicants should be enrolled in post-matric level courses at a government institution or a recognized private institution within Bihar.
Documents Needed for Bihar PMS Scholarship 2025-26 Online Application
Aadhaar Card – A valid Aadhaar number of the applicant.
Residential Certificate – Valid proof showing the candidate’s permanent domicile in Bihar.
Caste Certificate – Issued by the competent authority of the Government of Bihar.
Income Certificate (2025-26) – Annual income of parents/guardians, issued by the authorized authority.
Disability Certificate – Required only if the applicant falls under the PwD category.
Fee Receipt from Institution – Proof of current admission and fee payment.
Bonafide Certificate – Issued by the institution, if applicable.
Previous Examination Certificate/Marksheet –
For 1st year: Intermediate Pass Certificate.
For 2nd year and onwards: Marksheet/Pass Certificate of the previous course/year.
