The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has defined specific eligibility criteria for candidates applying for the District Sports Officer (DSO) Recruitment 2025. 🔹 BPSC District Sports Officer Eligibility 2025

1. Educational Qualification:

   • Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education (B.P.Ed) or an equivalent degree recognized by a government-approved university/institution.

   • Preference may be given to candidates with higher qualifications in sports education or relevant fields.

2. Age Limit (as on 01.08.2025):

   • Minimum Age: 21 years

   • Maximum Age: 37 years (for male candidates)

   • Maximum age allowed for Female, BC, and EBC applicants: 40 years.

   • The maximum permissible age for SC and ST candidates is 42 years as per the notification.

      

     3. Physical Standards:

     • Candidates must be physically fit and meet the required health standards as prescribed by BPSC for the post of District Sports Officer.
